Simex International was one of the pioneer in the importation of Filipino Foods from the Philippines. The company started in the 70's as a family corporation catering to only the Filipino store in the Bay area.


However, in the 80's, it also started to bring in products coming from different countries so that it can compete in the fast growing Asian market.


At present, the company is under new ownership and it intends to compete aggressively in the growing "Oriental Market" not only limited in the Bay Area but including the whole of California and Nevada.


The company had started to bring in new wide range of product lines from dry goods to frozen foods with the hope of regaining it's position in the market.
